In the hair dye category, it has maintained a leading position with the highest market share for both "black dyeing" and "color dyeing." Recently, the company announced that its shampoo products hold the highest market share among Taiwanese brands.
General Manager Fred Lai stated that the company has been steadily developing for 46 years and is regarded as "the expert in Oriental hair quality." It possesses a complete business model encompassing innovative R&D, production, and marketing, continuously launching high-quality products that align with market trends and stay ahead of fashion, gaining strong consumer favor.
Additionally, recognizing the potential of the online e-commerce market, Mawufa Corporation has proactively laid the groundwork, including establishing its official sales platform and launching its online native brand "SAHOLEA®." The company is actively undergoing digital transformation, operating on both online and offline fronts, with sales growing in tandem. In 2021, online e-commerce sales saw a significant increase of 60%, contributing to an overall growth of 21%.
Vice Chairman Yi-Li Lee indicated that to continue enhancing competitiveness and solidify its leadership position in the industry, Mawufa Corporation is currently investing over NT$900 million to upgrade its hair care factory into a new smart factory that will obtain both International Cosmetics GMP certification and Green Building certification. The new factory, equipped with an automated intelligent storage system, will significantly boost production capacity and quality while integrating environmentally friendly and energy-saving concepts to contribute positively to the environment.
